Privacy Policy

Our commitment to you
Your financial data is yours. We built myNovaDash with privacy at the core. We do not sell your data, we do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes, and we never use your business data to train AI models. What you put in stays yours — period.
1. Information We Collect
When you use myNovaDash, we collect the following:
- Account information — your name and email address when you create an account
- Business data — the financial data you manually enter into the dashboard, including revenue, expenses, hours, client information, and goals
- Usage data — basic information about how you use the app, such as which features you access, used solely to improve the product
We do not collect payment information directly. When payments are enabled, they are processed by a third-party payment processor and governed by their privacy policy.
2. Your Anthropic API Key
🔒 Maximum privacy — we never see your key
If you use the AI insights or import features, you provide your own Anthropic API key. This key is stored exclusively in your browser's local storage on your own device. It is never transmitted to, stored on, or accessible by myNovaDash's servers. Every AI request goes directly from your browser to Anthropic — myNovaDash is never in the middle of that communication.
3. How We Store Your Data
Your account and business data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted database provider with enterprise-grade security. Your data is:
- Encrypted in transit using TLS/HTTPS
- Encrypted at rest in the database
- Accessible only to your account — no other user can see your data
- Never shared with advertisers, data brokers, or third parties
- Never used to train AI models of any kind
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect solely to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the myNovaDash service
- Authenticate your account and keep it secure
- Send you transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset)
- Send you the weekly email digest if you opt in
- Respond to support requests
We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties except as required to operate the service (such as our database provider Supabase).
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data will be permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days. You can request deletion at any time by contacting us at hello@mynovadash.com.
6. Third-Party Services
myNovaDash uses the following third-party services to operate:
- Supabase — database and authentication storage
- Vercel — website hosting and deployment
- Anthropic — AI processing (only when you use AI features with your own API key)
- Mailchimp — email list management for users who join the waitlist
Each of these providers has their own privacy policy governing how they handle data. We choose providers with strong security practices and data protection commitments.
7. Cookies
myNovaDash uses minimal cookies strictly necessary for the service to function, including authentication session cookies. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking cookies of any kind.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Export your data
- Opt out of non-essential communications

9. Security
We take the security of your data seriously. We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections, secure authentication, and row-level database security that ensures each user can only access their own data. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children's Privacy
myNovaDash is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page and notify active users by email of any material changes. Your continued use of myNovaDash after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
